project highlights
This project by Tracy Wong combines a variety of art forms including a contemporary composition for solo piano, “Three Passions for Our Tortured Planet” (2021), dance, soundscape design, projection and light design, and videography. It is a response to climate change and consists of three distinct movements: Fire, Glaciers, and Winds. The first of the three, on fire, is above.

Deseo y Diseño (pictured above), is a video game created by Michael Lagos and Sol Lagos. In the video game, players step into the shoes of a native Angeleno and Raspadero as you explore a radical reimagining of Los Angeles through sustainable architectural redesign and queer imagination. The project balances speculative ideas with practical impacts on the built environment, envisioning a redesign of public institutions alongside a fictional narrative. The exhibition invites viewers to engage with this reimagined L.A., encouraging them to envision their place in the city’s future.
