Regenerate 2022

Regenerate 2022 continued to build momentum by kicking off USC's Green Week, further cementing the event within the university's "Assignment: Earth" sustainability efforts. The program featured USC professor and artist Eric Junker, who led a Protest Poster art workshop. This hands-on session empowered attendees to express their climate-related concerns, frustrations, and aspirations through visual and regenerative making. Attendees covered upcycled panels of cardboard – rescued from recycling bins across campus – with bright drawings and calls for action.

Following the workshop, students were ushered indoors for a panel with artists and ACC awardees exploring the intersection of art and activism. Attendees were motivated to collaborate across disciplines, backgrounds, and identities to create change.Afterwards everyone went back out to the courtyard to further build connections over delicious local food.
